What a week !  On arrival we were told that last weeks fishing had been slow with the carp preoccupied on naturals, so we expected a tough week. but we ended up with an incredible tally of big fish. The power of the fish was amazing with several battles of an hour or more making arms and back ache ! As always we were looked after superbly, all the tiny details are noticed and much appreciated. Thank you both see and you in the spring.

Second time here and we have booked our third visit which says it all ! Superb fishery with top accommodation, at last somewhere we can combine fishing with a holiday for both of us. FIshing was slow with the carp preoccuipied on naturals. Four smaller fish and a big mirror lost at the net. Gutted but not down - finally the "Pool of Dreams" came up trumps with a common of immense proportions - and I can't wait to get back for the next time. Many thanks to top hosts.

10/10 ! As usual we all had a brilliant weeks' holiday here at Les Croix under the care of Jon, and Oscar. The gite is just as we remembered and forms a perfect home from home. Chief fisherman Steve enjoyed an excellent weeks fishing, and although the weather was quite poor for much of the week it could not put a downer on a lovely relaxing retreat for all of us.

Our 7th visit to Les Croix and we already can't wait for next time ! I can honestly say that this week has been the best fishing I have had in my life. 35 mint condition fish and a new PB  - Fantastic ! It is great to see the fish growing and maintaining their beautiful condition, with the lake looking better than ever - a credit to the hard work and dedication of the owners. Once again we would like to thank you both for a wonderful week and for your lovely hospitality.

Our third visit and we are already looking forward to next year ! As we have come to expect everything was perfect. Fishing started off well, slowed down in the middle of the week and finished well. Our 2 year old daughter enjoyed the roach fishing and feeding the goats and chickens ! The gite has been improved once again, showing the stronf commitment to continuously develop this holiday location.

The weather was fantastic with sunshine evry day except Friday when we had a storm pass through. The only negative for the week was losing the big common at the net after a 15 minute battle but I will return next year to settle the score !

A brilliant weeks fishing - far exceeding our expectations. We were very impressed by the condition of the fish which is down to the fish care procedures in place. The setting of the lake is perfect, so pretty and tranquil. Saw some unusual wildlife too ! The gite is very comfortable and had everything we needed The pool was lovely although the water was a little bracing ! (cool nights). The food package was fantastic -

This was our first visit here and we could not fault it. The weather was beautiful and warm all week. We were provided with an excellent service with lovely food and gorgeous accommodation which are a credit to you both. Jack got his PB and Lee caught a range of wonderful fish. Thanks for letting us feed the goats and Oscar is one of the friendliest dogs we have ever met. The girls really enjoyed the pool and we all had a great time. Les Croix is definitlely a 5 star place and we hope to visit again some time.

First time at Les Croix after hearing about how good everything was about the venue. The fish were of course pristine, the accommodation was good and the food fabulous ! The pool was a godsend (very hot weather). Can't wait to come back to introduce myself to one of those big girls. Fishing was hard due to the weather but I had the pleasure of seeing many of the huge fish basking on the surface - what a sight !

The fish turned on for a couple of days at the end of the week so we ended up with 14 carp. The hosts were great, and did everything possible to ensure that we had a great holiday. Perfect - thank you !

What a fantastic week ! We arrived to a warm welcome as always. The gite was first class as usual, so comfortable with all the little touches. It's our 5th time here - we love everything about Les Croix.. The owners have made this a very special holiday for us both, and we would both like to say "Merci Beaucoup" ! See you next year !

Having been to France on fishing holdays many times before we have to say that Les Croix is by far the cleanest and best run venue that we have visited. The accommodation is absolutely superb and has everything that you could ever want. Despite putting in relatively few hours on the bank we still had a great week and enjoyed catching carp in the daytime for a change.

Our second visit as a couple, my seventh visit as an angler ! We were both looking forward to a relaxing time and rest. We were made very welcome as usual. The accommodation and food superb as always. I rested the lake before breakfast and again in the afternoons whilst we enjoyed some walks and just chilled out. After trying to work out where some of the fish might be it turned out to be a very good week,

very pleased to have caught Whisker -  one of the fish that I have thought about catching. All the very best to you both and we will see you next year.

Les Croix - does that translate from French to the dogs danglies ? I think so. Firstly, on coming across the web site I soon realized that I had come across something a bit special. The rules in place are unique and  have helped me gain a further better understanding of fish welfare which is great because once you start landing a few fish you realise that they are all in immaculate condition.  Don't know what Jon's been feeding these babies but they all fought like Arnie. The accommodation is second to none, very cosy, clean and wanting for nothing. 5-star in my book. The pool is a further added bonus for the sun worshipers amongst us. As a seasoned angler having paid many visits to all parts of France over the last nine years I feel glad to have found a place which I can honestly say has it all. Just wish I'd had stumbled across it sooner, but then having said that, I would have had nothing to compare it to and I have stayed at some nice places.  My fishing, well,  I didn't really get started until Tuesday as weather conditions were  not ideal at start of the week at between 28-32 degrees but welcome all the same as not getting up till late and catching up on much needed R&R, after which I started catching steadily for the remaining

part of the week. All in all, can't heap enough praise on what has been created here. The perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Jon's advise is invaluable and he will share his knowledge if required. Their work ethics are unbelievable as they both just don't stop. One word to describe them both. Diamonds. Genuinely nice people. Can't wait for my next visit. Think I've found my holiday home abroad.

This is our first visit to Les Croix and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We were made very welcome on our arrival. Unfortunately Jon had to return to the UK for most of the week so we took Sophie under our wing for this time. Luke smashed his PB three times and set a new lake record ! Mark caught every day and his best fish was nearly 20lbs heavier than his old PB ! The gite was spotless and had everything we needed to make it a home from home. Thank You.

Our second visit - on our first visit we got engaged and this year we are celebrating our first anniversary ! Variable weather conditions and quite hard fishing but still a fantastic result with a new PB so a very happy angler ! A high standard of food as usual and the hosts are as always fantastic- we look forward to seeing you and Oscar again next year.

5 Star Venue, well kept and tranquil.  5 Star food, you really spoiled us ! 5 Star Gite, very clean and well equipped). 5 Star Hospitality, second to none.  5 star fishing ! Although the weather was not on our side and we did not get to use the pool, we had the best chill-out week ever, Paul caught some amazing fish including a new lake record common so he is chuffed to bits. Only one negative and that is we have to go home ! We have already booked to come back in July.

Our 6th visit here and we still can't get enough ! The hosts are always so friendly and helpful and ready to offer advice. The fishing was good despite the changeable weather and wind direction ! Already looking forward to September for another week of relaxation. Thanks as always. Our fourth visit to the venue - after a long hard winter we were looking forward to enjoying some sunshine and we certainly got it ! The changeable conditions with exceptionally high temperatures at the start of the week made the fishing challenging at times, but we finished the week with a respectable 19 fish catch. We were looked after very well as usual and look forward to our next visit in October.

This is our 4th visiit to Les Croix and we can't fault it. We are always made to feel welcome and provided with an excellent friendly service. The food was delicious as usual and the accommodation at its high standard as ever. Fishing was great Nick caught 25 fish in all categories so he is leaving a very happy man. Thanks for entertaining the boys with the animals. Hopefully the weather will be nicer next year !  Thanks again.
