Les Croix is situated in the eastern corner of the Charente countryside in South West France, near to the Haute-Vienne border, situated between the three towns of Bellac, Confolens and St. Junien. Driving time is approximately 4.5 hours from Caen, 5 hours Le Havre/St.Malo, and 8 hours from Calais/Boulogne.
Although the cheapest crossings are from Dover, it is well worth considering the overnight crossing (with a cabin) from Newhaven to Dieppe with LD Lines which is a cheaper option, or alternatively you can benefit from our 20% discount offer with Brittany Ferries travelling from Portsmouth to Caen. This reduces the overall driving time in the UK for many people, and cuts costs on fuel and tolls on this side of the channel.. Having slept on the ferry you will be less tired for the shorter drive in France and can arrive feeling ready to enjoy your holiday !
