Please note - Les Croix is not  a suitable venue for novices - we expect anglers to have a good few years of carp angling behind them. 

Less experienced anglers are welcome at our second lake, Les Levades which is a perfect venue for those newer to carp fishing.

We are around most of the time to give advice when required and you can leave the lake for day trips etc., without any risk for  your tackle or belongings.

The site at Les Croix is fully fenced to 2 metres with excellent access to all areas. All gates are locked at night ensuring total security for our guests.

The banks are flat and grassy and there is vehicle access all around the lake, cars must be parked in the designated parking areas, but may be driven

to swims to drop off and pack away tackle.

You can fish anywhere with the exception of a small area in front of the house and the dam wall, several areas have good shade for most of the day -

very welcome at times in the summer !

The lake has marginal lilies in some areas but these are managed so as not to interfere with fishing. Depths are from 9 ft at the dam to 4 ft at the inlet

with deep and shallow margins. The bottom is a mixture of sand, clay and gravel with an area of shallow silt in the centre of the lake. 

There are plenty of flat, lawned areas around the lake and the accommodation for ball games, frisbee etc.

There is independant vehicle access to the accommodation.
